I hope this message finds you well. Rsquared Talent is committed to keeping our hosts informed and prepared—so we’re sharing the latest official policy updates from BIGO Live, effective July 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM PST.
Please read through the following updates carefully. These are strictly enforced and apply to all hosts and content creators on the platform.
🔒 NEW: Prohibited Behaviors on BIGO (Effective Immediately)
BIGO has made it clear that the following actions are no longer permitted under any circumstances:
🚭 Smoking on stream
❌ Nudity or sexually explicit content
🔫 Violent or aggressive behavior
🤬 Excessive profanity
🚫 Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate statements
These violations will now trigger real-time detection by BIGO’s updated AI moderation system, and may result in:
Immediate account suspension Permanent banning Loss of hosting privileges and/or payment
Please take this seriously and ensure your content remains compliant at all times.
🎥 NEW: Host Visibility Requirement
BIGO is now requiring that all hosts remain visibly on camera throughout their live streams—this applies to both single and multi-host panels.
Here’s what this means:
Being cammed down or off-screen for extended periods is not allowed Any time spent off-screen may be deducted from your official broadcast hours Repeated non-compliance may result in withheld payments and potential contract violations
✅ Stay on camera, stay active, and stay engaged with your audience to remain in good standing.
🚫 Children on Stream = Instant Ban
We want to stress one of the most serious rules being enforced:
BIGO is a strictly 18+ platform, and no children may appear on camera at any time during your broadcast.
This policy is non-negotiable and part of your host contract.
Any violation will result in:
Immediate banning Termination of your hosting agreement in severe or repeated cases
This rule is in place to maintain the safety, professionalism, and compliance of the platform globally.
